English
InstaPunch Mapper Privacy Policy (effective date: October 13, 2026)
InstaPunch Mapper ("the app") does not collect, upload or sell any personal information.
- Location: only when you turn on the "Location" switch does the app read your device's location while you are using it, to show your current position on the map and record observation points and tracks. Location data is stored only in project files on your device, unless you choose to share a project or export a GPX file.
- Photos: images are imported through the system photo picker, so the app receives only the images you select. The app adds exported map images to your photo library only when you choose "Save Image".
- Online maps: when you enable an online map layer, the app requests map images directly from the map provider you choose (such as Apple, Google, Baidu, Amap, or a service address you enter). These requests include the tile numbers of the area being displayed and are subject to that provider's privacy policy. Any API key you enter is stored only in the device keychain.
- The app contains no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs, and has no servers of its own.
- Deleting the app deletes all of its data on your device. Copies you save yourself through the Files app or iCloud Drive are managed by you.
